Downloadable eAudiobooks, eBooks, and Music
Davenport Public Library customers have access to a wide variety of digital books and music.
An eAudiobook is digital recording of a book, similar to Books on CDs. These eAudiobooks can be downloaded to your computer, portable listening device or burned to a disc. Davenport Public Library subscribes to two different eAudiobooks programs, NetLibrary and WILBOR.
NetLibrary: first create an account by visiting any Davenport Public Library location where you will set up a Netlibrary login and password. You do not need a Davenport Public Library card to use this service. Using your NetLibrary login and password, you will be able to download the content to a personal computer and transfer it to a portable listening device. You may need to install the free media center software available on the Netlibrary site in order to play the files.
WILBOR: as part of a consortium of Iowa libraries, all you need to access eAudiobooks is your Davenport Library card. The eAudiobooks from WILBOR can be downloaded to your computer, transferred to a portable listening device, or burned to a CD. You will need to download the Overdrive media software available on the WILBOR website.

Music Online: When presented the login screen, select “Davenport Public Library” from the drop-down box and enter you 14-digit library card number.
