A New Arrival at the Davenport Public Library!

"Almost everyday, new books are ordered and processed into circulation at the Davenport Public Library. The process is like the Davenport Public Library are adopting new books for its citizens every week. Check out this new video and welcome, "I Love Cinnamon Rolls" to our family!"

It's never to early to start reading with your child.  The Davenport Public Library offers story times for babies, toddlers, and preschoolers that include more than just reading books.  Watch this video recorded by Harry Walker and narrated by Mike Mickle with Mickle Communications to see story times in action.

Teens can hang out at the lib and enjoy teen specific programs, meeting new friends, playing video games, and much more at the Davenport Public Library!

Library Night at the Ballpark

This special thank you to the Quad City community was shown at Library Night at the Ballpark on the large video board in 2010. Library Night at the Ballpark is a partnership between the Quad Cities River Bandits and the Davenport Public Library, and is part of the national Step Up to the Plate program. Libby was a special guest that night and threw out the first pitch!!
