Borrow by Mail

The Library offers a Borrow by Mail option for Davenport patrons that mails holds directly to their home! This is a pilot program funded by the FRIENDS of the Davenport Public Library. This program is meant for individuals unable to come to a library location. All items are mailed free of charge but must be returned to a Library Return Box located at a Davenport Public Library location or at a Hy-Vee store on East or West Kimberly Rd. To place a hold, visit the Library Catalog and select Borrow By Mail as the pick-up location!

Curbside Delivery Service

Curbside delivery service is available at Davenport Public Library | Main and Davenport Public Library | Eastern.

To use this service, place items on hold with the pick-up point as Eastern or Main. When you receive notification that your items are ready, come to the location where they are being held and park in the parking spot labeled “Curbside Delivery Service” near the front of the Library.

Call or text the phone number posted on the sign and a friendly staff member will be out with your items! Be sure to have your library card ready!

Davenport Public Library | Main: Call (563) 676-4041: Monday - Thursday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm; Friday & Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Davenport Public Library | Eastern: Call (563) 505-8589​​​​​​: Monday & Wednesday 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm; Tuesday & Thursday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm; Friday & Saturday 9:00 am - 5:00 pm. 

Drive-Up Window at Davenport Public Library | Fairmount

For your convenience, holds placed with a pick-up point of Fairmount can be picked up at the drive-up window. The window is open during regular hours.
