DPL Mobile App

Welcome to the new Davenport Public Library app! While this version might look similar to the old one, it includes better integration with our catalog, for improved functionality and stability. With this app you can store a digital copy of your library card, search the catalog and reserve items, view upcoming events at the library, see new items available at the library, access digital services, and check the library's hours and locations.

Installing the App

If you have not installed it already, the Davenport Public Library app is available for iOS or Android, and can be found in both app stores:

Adding a Library Card

On first use of the new app, you will need to add your library card. Note that you will need to do this even if you had already added your card(s) in the old app - unfortunately that information does not carry over to the new version.

To add a card:

  1. Tap "My Account" My Account button
  2. Or tap the Card button in the lower right corner Card button
  3. Then tap Add Account button
  4. At the Add Account screen, enter your Barcode and PIN, then tap Log In button

To add additional cards (e.g. for family members):

  1. Tap "My Account" My Account button
  2. Tap the Add button button in the upper left
  3. Tap Add Account button 
  4. At the Add Account screen, enter your Barcode and PIN, then tap Log In button
