Welcome to the new Davenport Public Library app! Although the interface may appear similar to the previous version, it features enhanced integration with our catalog to deliver improved functionality and stability. Through this app, you can securely store a digital version of your library card, search the catalog and place reservations, view upcoming events, explore newly added items, access digital services, and find information on library hours and locations.
Installing the App
If you have not installed it already, the Davenport Public Library app is available on Apple's App Store or The Google Play Store, and can be found in both app stores:
Adding a Library Card
On first use of the new app, you will need to add your library card. Note that you will need to do this even if you had already added your card(s) in the old app - unfortunately that information does not carry over to the new version.
To add a card after first installing (or reinstalling) the app:
- Tap "My Account"

- Or tap the Card button in the lower right corner

- Then tap

- At the Account Log In screen, enter your Barcode and PIN, then tap "Continue"
To add additional cards (e.g. for family members):
- Tap "My Account"

- Tap "Manage Account"
- At the Account Listing screen, tap
- At the Account Log In screen, enter your Barcode and PIN, then tap "Continue"
