Who Can Join the Bestsellers Club?

If you have a library card from one of these places, you can join:

• Davenport Public Library
• Bettendorf Public Library
• Clinton Public Library
• LeClaire Community Library
• Musser Public Library
• Eastern Iowa Community College Libraries

If you have a card from the Scott County Library System, you can join their Bestsellers Club here.

What Books Are Included?

You’ll get new books by your favorite authors—only ones that haven’t come out before.
Some books are picked by famous people and can be any kind of book.
Librarians also choose 4 popular or new books each year in fiction and nonfiction.

What If I Don’t Want Every Book?

If a book shows up on your account and you don’t want it, you can cancel it online or call The Library.
You can also just return the book without checking it out.

How Long Until I Get the Book?

As soon as the book is ready, The Library will put a hold on it for you.
Who gets the book first is picked randomly.
You might wait longer if lots of people want it.
Large print books usually come out after regular ones.

What If I Can’t Pick Up the Book?

Libraries can only hold your book for a short time.
Davenport Public LIbrary will hold it for 7 days.
Ask your library how long they hold books.

What If I Need More Time to Read?

You can renew the book if no one else is waiting for it.
If you can’t renew it, you’ll need to place a new hold.
You can do this online or by calling us.

How Do I Change My Author Picks?

Just fill out the form again to add or remove authors.
